Araapa is the seventh child in a family of eight in Tanzania. He enjoys being in first grade and looking after his father’s cattle but is having difficulty walking properly. Araapa has a burn scar contracture (hard, tightened skin after a burn injury) on his right foot that makes daily activities difficult.
Araapa’s parents earn money by selling cows but only have enough money to afford necessities for their eight children. His mother and father cannot cover the cost of surgery to improve the function of Araapa’s foot.
Let’s work together and help raise the $505 needed for Araapa’s surgery so he can walk normally and continue raising the family’s cattle.
