Lillian is a 28-year old married mother of one child. She is a primary school teacher, but unfortunately she lost her job due to the pandemic lockdown. Now, she does home tutoring to earn money. Her husband works as an electrician, but is not employed anywhere permanently. The family owns and lives in a two room home which is not yet complete. She and her husband are expecting their second child.
Lillian is carrying her fifth pregnancy, and has unfortunately experienced three previous miscarriages. She has been receiving care at our medical partner’s care center where her doctor recommended that she deliver her baby by Caesarean section to avoid complications like uterine rupture.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH), is helping Lillian to deliver her baby safely. On October 7th, she will undergo a C-Section at AMH’s care center to ensure a safe and healthy delivery for her and her baby. Now, she and her husband need help raising $252 to fund the procedure and care.
Lillian shared, “I wish to have this child and be a good mother like others but the only possibility of this success will be through your kind support.”
