Mary is a 54-year-old woman from Kenya. She is married and has five children. Mary and her husband work for neighboring farms.
For about two months, Mary has been experiencing abdominal pains. She has been using medication, without improvement. A recent scan shows that she has gallstones, and her doctor recommended surgery to remove them.
Without treatment, Mary will continue to experience inflammation and severe pain. However, her family’s small income cannot meet the cost of this surgery.
Fortunately, with the help of our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, Mary is scheduled to receive her treatment on June 29. She needs help raising $750.
Mary says, “I hope I will get support and my surgery will be successful.”
