Felmetu is a baby from Ethiopia. He loves to play with his mother. His mother is a housewife, while his father is a farmer.
Since birth, Felmetu has had an inguinal hernia. The hernia causes him discomfort and pain. Fortunately, on April 3, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $487 to fund Felmetu’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Felmetu’s mother says, “We travelled to this hospital through the help of another humanitarian organization. My husband is very ill and his income from our farm is too low even to support the family. For this reason we can’t afford the medical bill.”
