25-year-old Kwikiriza is a businesswoman from Uganda. She sells secondhand clothes at the local market while her husband works as a motorcycle rider. Kwikiriza is currently 37 weeks pregnant with her first child.
Previous corrective surgery to treat uterine fibroids has left Kwikiriza with scarring, making it dangerous and unsuitable for Kwikiriza to deliver her baby naturally. With the help of our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, Kwikiriza will undergo an elective C-section on October 30 to safely deliver her baby.
Kwikiriza and her husband need our help to raise $280 for her surgery. After the surgery, Kwikiriza shares that she hopes to give the best care to her newborn baby and also return to work.
