Srun is a 64-year-old farmer who is married with two daughter and five sons. He likes to listen to the radio and clean around his home in his free time.
Srun heard about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), from his daughter. He traveled for four hours with his son to reach CSC for treatment.
Srun developed ischemia of his right foot, causing pain and swelling. His foot then developed necrosis, or tissue death, of the big toe and little toe. It is difficult for him to walk, and he is in chronic pain.
Surgeons at CSC will perform a below-knee amputation on Srun’s right leg to help him feel comfortable again. His surgery is scheduled for June 1.
Srun’s surgery will cost $446, which he cannot afford. Therefore, CSC is requesting that amount on his behalf.
