Turyatunga is a motorcycle taxi operator from Uganda. He is married with six children who are all in school. Turyatunga’s wife practices small scale farming.
For eight months, Turyatunga has had a left inguinal hernia. This has caused him pain and discomfort. His work performance has been affected, as he can no longer ride the motorcycle. Fortunately, on December 14, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Turyatunga’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Turyatunga says, “I will be glad when I am relieved of this condition and will continue with riding my motorcycle taxi business to cater for my family.”
