Emily is a local council member and loving mother from Uganda. Emily has a certificate in social work and administration. She and her husband, who is a motorcycle taxi operator, earn little from their respective jobs. Emily is a mother of four and expects to deliver her fifth child at Nyakibale hospital. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family.
Emily’s doctors recommend that she deliver via a caesarean section because of the risks she had during her previous pregnancies. Attempting to deliver without a c-section could result into ruptured membrane. With this care, doctors can ensure the safety of both mother and child.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is helping Emily undergo a C-Section on January 5th. This procedure will cost $252, and Emily needs your support.
Emily says “I hope to get your support and deliver safely.”
