Tumwebaze is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is married with three children, all of whom are studying in primary school. She and her husband grow crops including cassava, ground nuts, and millet.
Three years ago, she developed a scalp lipoma, which has been progressively growing in size and causing her pain. If it is not treated, it may continue to swell, leading to persistent discomfort and disfigurement.
Tumwebaze traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On August 2, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Tumwebaze needs help to raise $187 to fund this procedure.
Tumwebaze says, “I will be glad to have this condition relieved and I continue with cultivation to cater for my family.”
