Sunday is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. He is married and a father of four children, 3 of whom are still in school and have school feels. Sunday enjoys visiting agricultural fields to learn new ways and styles of farming to be able to improve his farming.
For the last 3 years, Sunday has experienced tenderness and disfigurement and has been diagnosed with a mass on the back of his head that needs to be excised.
Sunday traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On July 16th, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Sunday needs help to raise $145 to fund this procedure.
Sunday shared, “I feared what would happen if the swelling was not treated on time, I feel uncomfortable. I look forward to resuming farming as soon as possible to be able to provide for my family.”

Sunday underwent mass excision surgery.
Sunday had a successful surgery that helped remove a lipoma from his head. Through this surgery, he will be able to resume farming and will no longer be worried about the growth of the mass, something which worried him for some time. He was discharged with minimal complaints and will live a better life.
Sunday shared, “I received quality services at Rushoroza hospital and I thank the WATSI program for making my surgery a success. I will resume farming as soon as possible.”
