Fonais is guard from Malawi. Fonias and his wife live on a small farm and in his free time he likes to sit and spend quality time with his wife.
Since October 2016, Fonais has had a hydrocele, which is a swelling in a sensitive area. This hydrocele causes him pain and causes Fonias difficulty working and caring for his land. Fortunately, on October 19, he will undergo hydrocele repair surgery at Nkhoma Hospital, our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $302 to fund Fonais’s surgery. The requested money pays for supplies, medications, and six nights of hospital stay. Fonais was thrilled to find out his surgery would be funded.
He says, “I am so thankful.”
