Victory is a child from Tanzania. She is the oldest child in a family of two children. She just completed her early childhood education and she will be starting first grade. She is a playful and happy child.
For four years, Victory has been experiencing difficulty breathing and swallowing. She often has fevers and her mother has to stay up at night to watch her. Victory was recently diagnosed with enlarged tonsils, which, if not treated, will cause her symptoms to persist and possibly intensify over time.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $633 to fund a tonsillectomy for Victory, which is scheduled to take place on January 18. Surgeons will remove her tonsils, hopefully relieving Victory of her symptoms and helping her live more comfortably.
Victory’s mother says, “My daughter is suffering please help her we have no means of affording treatment.”
