Bhojan lives with his parents and older brother in one of Nepal’s mountainous regions. To ever walk normally, Bhojan will need surgery to repair his foot.
Bhojan was born with a congenital disorder in which the foot is turned inward and downward and cannot be realigned. Healthcare can be inaccessible for many in Nepal, and surgery like the one Bhojan needs is even farther out of reach for his family, who supports itself through farming and often struggles to meet basic needs. Despite the challenges they face, Bhojan’s family is hopeful about the future. They dream of their son acquiring higher education and becoming a doctor.
Nyaya Health hopes to raise $1,320 from Watsi donors to cover the cost of Bhojan’s treatment. Successful surgery will prevent life-long disability and allow him to lead a normal, productive life.
