Sarah lives with her husband, Bosco, and their first child in Uganda. Sarah works as a subsistence farmer growing beans, groundnuts, and maize for her family.
Sarah is pregnant with her second child, and her previous delivery was by C-Section. She has felt very weak and tired in her last trimester and agreed with her husband to stay in the Waiting Mother’s Hostel at the hospital awaiting delivery. She will need a C-Section for this delivery too.
During her free time, Sarah like playing with her child and weaving mats for an income. Sarah is looking forward to having a healthy baby and the day he or she can go to school.
Sarah says, “I thank the people supporting me to have a safe delivery. Many women deliver in communities and face lots of challenges after. Lending a hand to me means a lot. May God continue blessing you so that you can support more mothers to have safe deliveries.”
