Sein is a 40-year-old man from Thailand. He currently works as a day laborer to support the rest of his family, including his mother, his two daughters, and his five siblings.
For a few months now, Seine has dealt with pain, as the muscles in his abdomen have been tensing up frequently. He visited a local clinic and received an ultrasound. The results suggested that he has an abnormal mass or abscess in his abdomen. However, the medic could not give him a clear diagnosis and referred him to our medical partner’s care center for a CT scan in order to further examine his symptoms.
Seine is scheduled to undergo a CT scan on August 7. Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is requesting $414 to cover the expenses of the procedure.
Hopeful that he will be able to receive treatment and rejoin his family, Seine says, “I feel very upset about my current condition, and after I receive treatment, I will return home to stay with my daughters and mother.”
