Meet 70-year-old Mugenyi from Uganda. He lives with his wife and is father to five adult children. He was custodian of Kichwamba Technical College up until his retirement.
Mugenyi shares with our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation (AMHF), that for the last two years he has been experiencing swelling and pain in a sensitive area. Mugenyi has now been been diagnosed with a bilateral inguinal hernia and will undergo hernia repair surgery on October 11.
AMHF is asking for $249 to cover the costs of Mugenyi’s surgery and three day hospital stay.
“After my surgery, I want to help my wife do the gardening at home,” says Mugenyi.
