Namara is a hotel attendant from Uganda. She is a widow with two children. Her husband passed away in 2011.
For three years, Namara has had an incisional hernia, caused by delivering her children via C-section. This has caused her pain, and she has not been able to work well. Fortunately, on July 24, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Namara’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably.
Namara says, “I hope to have a better quality of life and improve on my work performance after surgery.”
