Wout is a 50-year-old farmer from Burma. He lives with his older brother and sister. Together they work on the family’s rice farm and raise pigs and chickens.
Three months ago, Wout’s testicles started to swell. At first, the swelling was not very painful, but it soon began to increase in size very quickly and became too painful to tolerate any longer.
Seeking treatment through our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, Wout is scheduled to undergo hernia repair surgery on June 22. Unable to afford the medical bill, Wout is requesting $1,500 to cover the total cost of his procedure and care.
After his recovery, Wout will be able to resume his farming without pain.
