Samnang is a one-year-old from Cambodia. He has one older brother. He likes to drink milk and play with his toys.
Three months ago, he was burned by some hot water on his fingers. Burn scar contractures have developed, tightening the skin around his burn. It is difficult for him to bend and use his fingers.
When Samnang’s family learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, they traveled for one hour seeking treatment. On March 6, surgeons at CSC will perform a burn contracture release surgery to to help him use his fingers freely again. Now, his family needs help to fund this $448 procedure.
His mother says, “I am happy that my son will soon be able to use his fingers again.”
