Kevin is a 22-year-old student who lives in Uganda. He farms with his parents, growing crops not only for home consumption, but also for paying his school fees. During his free time, Kevin enjoys playing volleyball, watching football, and farming with his parents during school holidays.
Kevin has recently developed a right side inguinal hernia. The pain caused by the hernia has made it difficult for Kevin to farm and concentrate on his studies.
Kevin is scheduled for a hernia repair operation on June 8 at our medical partner’s care center, Bwindi Community Hospital. Our medical partner, The Kellermann Foundation, is requesting $229 to fund a five-night hospital stay, medication, supplies, labs, and physician consultations.
After the surgery, Kevin is looking forward to resuming his studies and farming. He is very grateful to the donors for funding his treatment.
