Mpwerebuha is a farmer from Uganda. She is a widow and a mother of three children. She cultivates food for home consumption and depends on her children for other needs.
In 2016, Mpwerebuha developed a swelling on her left thigh. She thought it was an insect bite and didn’t take it seriously. Later, it become painful. When she applied local herbs, they didn’t help.
Mpwerebuha traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On January 10, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Mpwerebuha needs help to raise $196 to fund this procedure.
She says, “I hope for good health and being free from pain after surgery.’’

Mpwerebuha underwent a mass removal procedure.
Mpwerwebuha’s mass excision was a success. She is no longer in discomfort and pain.
She says, “I feel better and I am happy about the surgery and assistance I’ve received. After recovery I will continue with my farming and be able to produce enough food for my family. I am very grateful to the people who have paid for my surgery. I cannot thank you enough. God bless you I will pray for you always.”
