Daisy is a young student from Kenya. She is the 4th born in a family of 6 and a class 2 pupil at Chemora Primary school. The family hails from Kapiuk village in Baringo county. We met Daisy at our mobile clinic in Kabarnet. She had been brought by her father Solomon. Both her father and the mother are farmers.
Daisy has clubfoot of her right foot. Clubfoot is a condition in which the foot is twisted out of shape. This causes difficulty walking and even wearing shoes.
Fortunately, Daisy traveled to visit our medical partner’s care center, AIC Cure International Hospital. There, surgeons will perform clubfoot repair surgery on October 07. Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $1,224 to fund Daisy’s clubfoot repair. After treatment, she will be able to walk easily.
“We are looking forward to see Daisy walking like other children and any kind of support will be highly appreciated.” Daisy’s father noted.
