Tumwesigye is a small scale farmer from Uganda. Tumwesigye is married with five children; four are casual labourers while the last born is in primary two class. His wife is also a small scale farmer.
Three months ago, Tumwesigye developed a left inguinal hernia and hydocele. This condition causes him pain and discomfort. Fortunately, on August 18, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Tumwesigye’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Tumwesigye says, “I know God is alive and caring, I will surely be glad for any financial support I get for restoring my health so that I can get strength to continue with cultivation.”
