Myo is a 35-year-old man from Thailand. He lives with his wife and their son in Mae Kon Ken Village, Mae Sot Township, Tak Province. Myo works on a farm.
In 2015, Myo started to experience stomachaches. Doctors want Myo to undergo a CT scan, a procedure in which x-ray images taken from several angles are combined to produce cross-sectional images of the body. This scan will hopefully help doctors diagnose his condition and formulate an appropriate treatment plan.
Our medical partner, Burma Children Medical Fund, is requesting $414 to cover the cost of Myo’s CT scan and care, scheduled for July 9.
Myo said, “I feel like my pain has worsened compared to before and I have not been able to work for two weeks already. I am worried for my family because I am the sole income earner for my family.”
