Lonh is a 71-year-old fisherman from Cambodia. He has five children and four grandchildren. He loves to listen to the news on the radio in his free time.
Three years ago, Lonh developed a cataract in each eye, causing him blurry vision, and itchy, watery eyes. He has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.
When Lonh learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, he traveled for two hours seeking treatment. On October 3, doctors will perform a small incision cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in each eye. After recovery, he will be able to see clearly. Now, he needs help to fund this $398 procedure.
His son says, “I don’t want to worry about my dad anymore.”
