Saret is a 65-year-old teacher from Cambodia. He has one daughter, three grandchildren, and enjoys reading about Khmer literature and history in his free time.
Two years ago, Saret developed a cataract in his right eye, causing him blurry vision. He has difficulty seeing things clearly, recognizing faces, and going anywhere outside.
Saret learned about our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, and on December 12th, doctors will perform a phacoemulsification cataract surgery and an intraocular lens implant in his right eye. After recovery, he will be able to see clearly. Now, he needs help to fund this $211 procedure.
Saret shared, “I hope that I will be able to see clearly and be able to recognize my relatives’ faces. I hope that I will be able to drive a motorcycle again and read books without difficulty.”
