Chalobwa is a 65-year-old farmer from Malawi. Chalobwa and his wife have six children and seven grandchildren. Chalobwa works very hard on his farm and also works as a carpenter to support his family. In his spare time, he likes to chat with his wife and family.
For the past year, Chalobwa has been having difficulty urinating and has been determined to have this painful problem treated. He requires prostate surgery but is unable to afford it.
On June 1, Chalobwa will undergo prostate resection surgery. Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $733 to fund this procedure. The requested $733 pays for surgical materials, medication, and seventeen nights of hospital stay.
Chalobwa says, “I give thanks to Watsi and the hospital staff for this gift.”
