Morn is a 64-year-old grandfather from Cambodia. He is married and has three sons, five daughters, and ten grandchildren! A retiree, Morn enjoys watching the news on TV and listening to the news on the radio.
About a year ago, Morn developed cataracts in each of his eyes, causing him blurred vision and sensitivity to light. Seeking treatment, he visited our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC).
On April 24, Morn will undergo surgery at Kien Khleang National Rehabilitation Centre, CSC’s care center. He will receive intraocular lens implants in each of his eyes, making him able to see. CSC is asking for $292 to cover the cost of his treatment.
Morn is looking forward to recovering and being able to see again!

Morn underwent cataract surgery.
His eye cataract was successfully removed from his left eye, and clear vision has been restored. Following the operation, he was given eye drops to reduce inflammation and prevent infection. He will return soon for the same surgery on his right eye.
Morn says, “I feel very happy that my eyes can see clearly again. I can do my housework and plant some vegetables for my family. I can easily go anywhere outside by myself very well.”
