Tumushabe is a rural farmer from Uganda. She is married with four children; all are still in school studying. She and her husband are practicing small-scale farming as they grow crops like maize, millet, cassava, and potatoes for a living.
Tumushabe came to the hospital with swelling around the wrist of her right hand, which she has had for two years. It’s less painful, but very discomforting and she cannot hold anything heavy.
Tumushabe traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On May 19th, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Tumushabe needs help to raise $206 to fund this procedure.
Tumushabe says: “I have suffered from this condition for long and I felt like I have lost hope.”
