Arinda is a 4-year-old child from Uganda. Arinda has both parents but they don’t live together. Her mother takes care of her without any support from her father, and unfortunately when she became sick, the father was informed but never responded. Arinda’s mother earns a living through practicing small-scale farming while her father is a bodaboba cyclist driver in Kampala.
Arinda has a supra umbilical hernia. This hernia causes her abdominal pain and discomfort. Fortunately, on February 11th, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Arinda’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably and confidently.
Arinda’s mother says, “I hope by God’s mercy, my daughter will be fine after surgery.”
