Kyarisiima is a farmer from Uganda. She is married mother with two children who are in school; one in nursery and the other in second grade. Kyarisiima’s sustenance is met through practicing small scale farming and she mostly grows beans and millet for home consumption specifically. She at times works in other people’s farms to earn a living. Her husband is a construction worker.
For eight years, Kyarisiima has had a scalp swelling. This has disfigured her scalp and causes her discomfort.
Kyarisiima traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On April 14th, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, Kyarisiima needs help to raise $187 to fund this procedure.
Kyarisiima says, “I hope that when treated, I will be relived from this condition and will be able to go on with farming.”
