So Phath is a 22-year-old man from Cambodia with a fractured ankle. Immediately after his fracture, So Phath went to see a local village healer and was given a bamboo cast. It didn’t help – now he is in even more excruciating pain and cannot walk normally. He needs surgery to set the bone and facilitate the healing process.
So Phath went to school, but left after the 7th grade to help his family with their rice farm. This is the busiest time of year for the rice harvest, but because of his injury So Phath has been unable to work.
So Phath likes to relax by hanging out with his neighbors and watching TV in his village. Let’s help get him the surgery he needs so that he can go back to work and get on with his life!
