Wicklif is a student and is the 6th born into a family of eight siblings. He loves playing football in school and hopes to become an accountant in future. His parents are farmers who work hard to raise enough funds for their day-to-day life and school fees.
For the past six months, Wicklif has had right inguinal hernia. The hernia has been causing him great pain and has left him struggling to do his daily duties with ease. He needs surgery but his parents are not able to raise the funds needed.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Wicklif undergo treatment. On April 14th, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Now, Wicklif needs $230 to fund his surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably and confidently.
Wicklif shared, “I hope to get better after surgery, get back to my normal life, and that I’ll be able to continue with school in good health.”
