Sokhon is a 54-year-old farmer who is married with three daughters and four sons. He enjoys listening to the news on his radio in his spare time.
About ten years ago, Sokhon developed a solid mass near his shoulder region. The mass does not cause Sokhon any pain but is continuing to grow in size, leaving him in discomfort.
Sokhon traveled with his wife for three hours to reach our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), for treatment. On April 26, Sokhon will undergo surgery to remove the mass.
Sokhon needs our help to pay for his $224 medical bill. This will cover his surgery and hospital stay.

Sokhon underwent the removal of a mass.
Sokhon’s treatment for his shoulder went well. Following the procedure, he had two weeks of physiotherapy at CSC before being discharged. His wounds have healed nicely and he does not experience any pain. Sokhon feels more comfortable than before.
Sokhon says, “I’m so happy with the result of the surgery. I feel better now. Thanks to all of the doctors for helping me. I will go back to work again.”
