Kesaasi is a mother of four from Uganda. When she was younger, Kasaasi had to drop out of primary school during Class 6 and joined her mother to work on the farm. Two years later, she married her husband. Together with her husband, Kesaasi relies on farming to make ends meet.
When Kesaasi came to Nyakibale Hospital for review, the doctor recommended she undergo a C-Section delivery to save her from uterine rapture as she previously had cesarean sections. She has been undergoing regular antenatal visits and monitoring at a local health center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare, is helping Kesaasi receive treatment. She is scheduled to undergo a C-section on May 26th at our medical partner’s care center. This procedure will cost $252, and she and her family need help raising money.
Kesaasi shared, “I am happy to be considered for financial support towards the surgery to have my baby. I hope to resume farming after full recovery.”
