Comfort is a primary school student from Malawi. He lives with his grandmother and loves to play ball.
Since 2015, Comfort has had an inguinal hernia. This hernia causes swelling and pain and prevents him from attending school. Fortunately, on January 17, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at Nkhoma Hospital, our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, World Altering Medicine, is requesting $334 to fund Comfort’s surgery. The requested money pays for supplies, medications, and six nights of hospital stay.
His grandmother says, “We are so happy that he can be treated here, we have been to two other hospitals and nobody knows how to do this surgery.”
