Nou is a bean farmer from Cambodia. He has six siblings and loves fishing in the river by his house.
In December 2016, Nou was in a motorbike accident that caused an open fracture of his wrist. Nou was treated by a traditional healer near his home seven hours away. Unfortunately, the fracture has not healed and is causing him a lot of pain.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On September 8, Nou will undergo a fracture repair procedure, which will cost $430. This procedure will prevent further damage and heal the affected area. Ultimately, surgery will help to reduce pain and improve function.
His brother says, “I hope my brother feels better soon.”
