Hemraj works with his parents and siblings on a farm in rural Nepal. When he isn’t at school or playing soccer and kabaddi (a regional game that is something like rugby and wrestling), he is working with his family raising animals and farming. However, this hard work only feeds his family for half of the year. Hemraj plans to eventually leave farming and work in security, helping his community and country.
Hemraj currently has a skin and soft tissue infection on his right arm. He needs a graft surgery in order to keep his arm moving freely. Without the surgery, he could lose function in his right arm, posing a challenge for him to continue his education and work in the future.
We are raising $675 for Hemraj’s surgery. This cost will pay for his diagnostic testing, treatment, and travel costs.
