Phal is a rice farmer from Cambodia. He has six children.
In January 2015, he was in a motorbike crash, which caused a fracture in her left leg. He went to an emergency clinic and the surgeons fixated internal hardware to his femur to heal his fracture. Now the metal is painful and he’s uncomfortable, which is causing him to stop work.
Fortunately, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre, can help. On December 19, Phal will undergo a hardware removal procedure, which will cost $214. This procedure to remove the old hardware can help him walk easily again.
He says, “I want to complete my work like before.”
