Night is a 25-year-old mother of two from Uganda.
Night had a caesarean section delivery in September of 2013, and shortly after, began to feel a sharp pain at the incision site. Over time, the pain increased, followed by a localized swelling.
Finally unable to tolerate the pain any longer, Night sought assistance through our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation (AMHF). Night’s swelling was diagnosed as a hernia, and she is now scheduled to undergo hernia repair surgery on July 5. AMHF is requesting $249 to cover the total cost of her procedure and care.
After her recovery, Night will be able to resume her daily activities free of pain.
