Priscah is 43 years old and the 1st born in a family of five siblings. She has never been to school due to the poverty level of her family. She’s a single mother of two daughters and her firstborn is now 23yrs old and married. She has recently been blessed with a granddaughter. Her second born is 16 yrs. old and is a bright student in secondary school.
Priscah is a casual laborer, finding work where she can. She often tills land for her neighbors. She works hard and through the wages she earns on daily basis, she is able to support her daughter, her aged parents, and as well as herself. She lives at her father’s ancestral home in a timber-roomed house. She also has 3 hens that provide them with few eggs to consume at home. She plants maize and beans within his father’s piece of land that their family can also eat.
Priscah arrived to the hospital with a painful lesion. She has had it for a year now and it is slowly growing. Priscah traveled to our medical partner’s care center hoping to receive treatment. On November 12th, surgeons will remove the mass. Now, she needs help to raise $529 to fund this procedure.
Priscah says,’’ I am looking forward to a financial helper towards my hospital bill. Thank you very much.’’
