Pheap is a rice farmer from Cambodia. She has a son and three daughters. She likes to tend to her vegetable garden and watch TV in her free time.
Ten years ago, she developed a mass on her right leg, and two years ago the mass became painful. She experiences leg pain from the mass.
Pheap traveled to our medical partner’s care center to receive treatment. On September 4, surgeons at our medical partner, Children’s Surgical Centre (CSC), will remove the mass. Now, Pheap needs help to raise $220 to fund this procedure.
She says, “I want to go to back to work to support my family after my surgery is successful.”

Pheap underwent successful surgery.
Pheap’s original treatment plan was to have the mass in her right leg removed. They had to change the operation plan after starting surgery because they found a fascia hernia in the underlying muscle. They repaired the hernia and the procedure was a success. She will not have any more leg pain. Unfortunately, our medical partner was unable to take an update photo.
