Kabarira is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. He is married with six children. He grows mainly vegetables, including cabbages and tomatoes.
For five years, Kabarira has had an inguinal hernia. The hernia causes him pain, and as a result, he is no longer able to farm. Fortunately, on May 22, he will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Kabarira’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow him to live more comfortably.
Kabarira says, “I hope to be relieved of this condition and I continue working for the good of my family through cultivation.”
