Kemitazo is a small-scale farmer from Uganda. She is married with seven children.
For four years, Kemitazo has been experiencing lower abdominal pain and discomfort. She has been diagnosed with uterine fibroids. She needs to undergo a hysterectomy, a procedure in which surgeons will remove her uterus.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $208 to fund Kemitazo’s surgery. On November 15, she will undergo gynecological surgery at our medical partner’s care center. Once recovered, Kemitazo will be able to resume her daily activities free of pain.
Kemitazo says, “I will do farming for the well-being of my family after surgery.”
