Hoeun is a 53-year-old motorcycle taxi driver who is married with two sons, one daughter, and one grandchild. He likes to watch the news and boxing on TV in his free time.
Six months ago, Hoeun developed a cataract in each eye, which causes him blurred vision and photophobia (extreme sensitivity to light). It is difficult for Hoeun to see things clearly, recognize faces, work, and travel on his own.

Hoeun requires $292 to cover the cost of his surgery, scheduled for May 29.

Hoeun underwent successful cataract surgery.
His eye cataract was successfully removed from his left eye, and clear vision has been restored. Following the operation, he was given eye drops to reduce inflammation and prevent infection. He will return soon for the same surgery on his right eye.
Hoeun says, “I feel happy that I can see clearly so that I can continue my job easily and earn more money to support my family. I can also go anywhere on my own.”
