Angero is a 56 year old farmer from Uganda. He and his wife have six children, two of whom are teachers, while the remaining four are still in school. The family lives in a three room mud house.
For the past year, Angero has had a hydrocele, which is a swelling in a sensitive area. As a result, Angero has pain, especially when urinating and walking. He is afraid that the hydrocele might become infected and cause more complications, but he is unable to pay for the treatment that he needs.
Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, can help Angero. They are requesting your aid in funding the $146 needed to pay for the hydrocele repair surgery, which is scheduled to take place on December 6th, at Karoli Lwanga Hospital, Nyakibale. After the procedure, Angero will be able to resume his life in comfort and with confidence.
Angero says: “I hope to be operated on and to be free from the constant pain that has affected my day-to-day life.”
