Hillary is a curious and playful 18-month-old from Uganda. His family is undergoing a hard time, as his mother passed away in June in a road accident. Hillary is currently being cared for by his grandmother, who works as a farmer. His grandmother shared her hopes of Hillary healing soon.
Since birth, Hillary has had inguinal scrotal hernia that causes him pain. Fortunately, our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare (AMH), is able to help him receive the treatment he needs. On September 26th, Hillary will undergo hernia repair surgery at AMH’s care center. Once completed, this procedure will allow him to live more comfortably and confidently. AMH is requesting $230 to fund this procedure.
Hillary’s grandmother shared, “I think my grandson will be relieved from the pain he has been suffering once given your support to undergo his surgery. May he grow well.”
