Ayebazibwe is a child from Uganda. She is an only child. She spends most of her time in the care of her grandmother while her father works as a casual laborer and her mother farms.
Since birth, Ayebazibwe has had an umbilical hernia. This hernia causes her discomfort and if not treated, it may result in intestinal tissue twisting and blocking. Fortunately, on October 2, she will undergo hernia repair surgery at our medical partner’s care center.
Our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation, is requesting $219 to fund Ayebazibwe’s surgery. Once completed, this procedure will hopefully allow her to live more comfortably and confidently.
Her grandmother says, “I hope my granddaughter will have better health after surgery.”
