Ephraim is a 37-year-old father from Kyandago in rural Uganda. Ephraim is a primary school teacher and father of three. When Ephraim is not teaching at school, he enjoys working on the farm with his wife and teaching his children mathematics.
About two years ago, Ephraim developed a lipoma (a mass) on the back of his neck, which has only grown in size since then. His lipoma presses on the nerves in the back of his neck, resulting in pain and headaches. After visiting our medical partner, The Kellermann Foundation, for an evaluation, it was recommended that the lipoma be removed.
Ephraim is scheduled to undergo surgery to remove this mass on June 5, and is requesting $196 to cover the total cost of the procedure.
“I thank the donors that come to the rescue of the needy,” shares Ephraim. “Even though I have a job and can earn some money, the earnings are not enough for me to support my family and also pay our hospital bill, may God continue to bless the donors.”
