Moses is a young student from Kenya. He is a cheerful young man. He is the second born in a family of two siblings and is looking forward to finishing high school in October this year. Moses lives with his single mother, who sells secondhand clothing in order to support her children.
Moses was diagnosed with cryptorchidism, a condition in which one or both of the testicles remains undescended. If left untreated, Moses has an increased risk of developing hernias, testicular cancer, and fertility problems in the future.
Moses will be receiving assistance from our medical partner, African Mission Healthcare Foundation (AMHF). Fortunately, he is scheduled to undergo corrective surgery on August 23. AMHF is requesting $459 to cover the total cost of his procedure and care.
His mother says, “I would love to see him with a family of his own. I hope for help and successful surgery.”
